Jundokan Okinawa Goju-Ryu Karate-Do
Jundokan is one of the most respected dojos and organizations dedicated to the preservation and transmission of Okinawa Goju-Ryu Karate-Do, a traditional martial art that blends hard (go) and soft (ju) techniques. Founded in 1957 by Eiichi Miyazato, a direct student of Goju-Ryu founder Chojun Miyagi, Jundokan maintains a strong connection to the original teachings of Okinawan karate.
The Jundokan curriculum includes foundational kihon (basics), traditional kata, as well as breathing techniques and practical applications focused on close-range self-defense. Training emphasizes discipline, body conditioning, and the cultivation of both physical and mental strength.
